Saeed Dini, M.D.

Dr. Saeed Dini is a distinguished physician and healthcare leader with more than three decades of excellence in internal and hospital medicine. Renowned for his clinical judgment, calm leadership, and unwavering commitment to patient well-being, Dr. Dini has built a career defined by precision, compassion, and innovation in complex medical care.

Educated at Shiraz University Medical School and further trained in Internal Medicine at The New York Hospital/Cornell University, Dr. Dini brings a global perspective to modern medicine. His extensive experience spans international clinical practice and leadership across some of the most respected healthcare institutions in the United States.

Since joining Kaiser Permanente Southern California in 1996, Dr. Dini has been a pioneering force in hospital medicine, becoming the first hospitalist in the Southern California Kaiser Permanente Group. His influence extends well beyond clinical care—having served in numerous senior leadership roles including Chief of Hospital Medicine, Assistant Area Medical Director, Director of Medical Performance Improvement, and Leader of COVID-19 Hospital Response initiatives.

Dr. Dini is particularly esteemed for his expertise in complex case management, geriatrics, utilization strategy, quality improvement, and physician leadership development. His career has been recognized with multiple honors, including Physician of the Year awards and prestigious teaching distinctions. Fluent in English, Farsi, and Hebrew, Dr. Dini embodies a culturally informed, globally minded approach to healthcare.
