Dear. Dr Ma

It has been about 5 months since you scheduled my back surgery (LUMBAR LAMINECTOME MICRODISECTOMY-17/Dec/2018). I'm 69 years old. Before my surgery, I was experiencing uncompromising sciatic leg pain, partial leg and ankle paralysis, general pain and immobility. My condition and general outlook was despairing and very uncomfortable. Completely life changing.

My first meeting with you, prior to my back surgery, was a discussion of your review of my then current MRI. We decided that surgery was the best option for ---------me at that point. You were very dear with your explanations and potential outcome. All the possibilities were discussed (negatives and positives). It felt very reassuring that a plan of action had been decided on.

My surgery, at Palmdale Regional Hospital, was very successful. Thank you Dr. Ma, for all your experience and knowledge, for bringing me thru a very trying time of my life. I was out of the hospital the following day after you performed your remarkable surgical procedure. I went back to work in 2 weeks and 4 days. My recovery since has been astounding. I am working. My mobility is good. I'm pain free. My attitude is fresh. Most of all, I have my independence back. I have my life back.
