Dr. Farees Ricky Tavangari, M.D., is a board-certified general surgeon specializing in acute care surgery, complex abdominal wall reconstruction, and minimally invasive procedures. At the NeuroSpine Institute, he provides advanced care across both emergency and elective conditions, with expertise in hernia repair, foregut and gallbladder pathology, and soft tissue management.
He completed his minimally invasive surgery fellowship at South Miami Hospital, performing over 1,300 operative cases, and trained in general surgery at Kaiser Permanente Los Angeles Medical Center, where he developed a strong foundation in high-acuity surgical care.
Dr. Tavangari also serves as a Clinical Assistant Professor at Western University of Health Sciences and holds leadership roles at Palmdale Regional Medical Center.
